Set amidst the tranquillity of rolling hills and the river Ettrick, accommodation within this 1000 acre working farm is further enhanced by being situated in James Hogg and Sir Walter Scott Country. Leisure pursuits include hill walking, pony trekking and free trout fishing on the Ettrick River. There is more to see and do in the nearby Border Towns and the Tibetan Centre, Samyeling at Eskdalemuir is close by. Expect a warm Borders welcome and comfortable accommodation. The location of our accommodation provides a perfect base for exploring the many nearby historic attractions, golfing, walking, fishing, or for simply enjoying the peace and quiet of the Scottish Borders. |
